abstract(syn. conceptual) 1. 추상적인. 2. 이론적인 3. 난해한

예술 분야에서 abstract과 관련된 단어를 보면 추상적인 단어들이 나열된 것을 볼 수 있다.

만질 수 없고, 어떤 현상을 한 단어로만 정의할 수 없는 것을 abstract이라고 한다.  abstract art에는 아래 그림과 같은 예시를 들 수 있다.
